e had a nice day today celebrating Saint Brigid and preparing for St. Brigid's Day which is happening this Sunday. The children and adults had a good go at making St. Brigid's crosses and I think every family should have one for their house.
Making the crosses demanded alot of patience and teamwork however the children kept at it and worked well with each other. They certainly are not easy to make!
Thanks to those families who brought us in rushes! It was great to have them and they were good quality of rushes for making the crosses.
Keep your Brigid's Day crosses and it could be a nice idea to get them blessed this weekend at mass or by Father Dolan.
