End of year arrangements

Dear parents / guardians,

I hope that you are all well as we come closer to the end of the year, one which will be remembered for many different reasons for us all.

End of year reports

On Wednesday 24^th June the reports can be collected from the school between 1.30 and 2.30pm. 

During this time, the teachers will have any medicine that we held, coats, wellies and other items outside that can be collected.

I would also ask that any textbooks and other resources that have been used at home will be dropped off.

We hope that you will be able to come along on Wednesday as we say a fond farewell to our Primary 7 pupils.  This is not how we wanted the school year to end for them and hopefully we will be able to welcome them all back in the months ahead to remember their time in the school.

Please remember the regulations that are in place for social distancing when you are on the school grounds.

Survey of home-schooling and planning for September

I would like to commend you all on the great effort that you put in with your child/children over the last number of weeks.  These have really been unprecedented times and something which no-one could have planned for.  I would like to thank you and on your behalf the teachers who have sent you home weekly planners to complete with your child/children.  Not having the children in front of you is very difficult for teachers to gauge the learning and think about ways to help the child reach their potential.

I hope that when we get back to some level of normality that we can accommodate as many pupils as possible to ensure they achieve their potential during these important school years.

With this in mind, I would like to get your views over home-schooling and how we can move forward as a school community in the next few months.
