The P5, P6 and P7 children had a farm safety talk on Monday with a lady called Deirdre from HSENI. Deirdre had an interesting conversation with the children and went through a PowerPoint/ video with them. She spoke about how to stay safe on the farm and that the farm had many dangers that children and adults need to be aware of. Slurry, animals on the farm, tractors, quads etc were some of the topics she touched on. Each child was also given a booklet and bookmark and we are completing the Farm Safety Art competition at the moment.
