Now that the curtain has fallen on our participation for Feis Thir Eoghain 2024, I want to congratulate each and every child from the school who competed in their respective categories.
There was fantastic success in each of the area’s that the children took part in.
In our Art section we had lots of medals. Well done to our prizewinners:
1st: Eimear, Aoife, Rosie B, Daniel, Rosie O’, and Bláithín.
2nd: Róisín, Tierna, Quinn, Sarah and Oisin.
3rd: Ava-Grace, Dara, Ellie, Hannah, Annie and Peggy.
H/C: Luke and Lara.
Tin whistle took place on 27th April. Our pupils performed spectacularly. Well done to Aoife and Rosie who placed second and to Annie for her 3rd place and Ellie achieving 4th.
Quinn and James performed in the poem with Quinn placing 2nd.
In the solo vocal section Ellie and Quinn shared their dulcet tones with the audience. Quinn and Ellie both tied in 3rd place.
The Irish poem was a huge area for us to compete in and the children recited their poems superbly. Well done to Ellie who lifted first place and to Rosie in 2nd and Hannah in 4th.
What a successful year at the feis this year and no doubt the pupils will excel again next year.
